The heavy bases of these stools look quite dark in all of the pictures but they're as clear as a mirror once you get them out of the boxes! This was a very nice design choice and a great surprise. Adds to the whole look of the stool so much!
In theory this stool is just one of the Semplice stools also found on their site with a back rest added to the recipe. And it works! The backrest adds so much character to the stools and I'm now the proud owner of a pair of these bad boys. These should honestly be at the top of everyone's wish list for bar stools.
These stools are amazing: the look, the feel, everything. I wouldn't be surprised if I saw these in old photos of clubs from the 60's, as much as I could also imagine them in some sort of spaceship! The design of these stools has been completely nailed and the end result is amazing
Very pleased with our 2 breakfast bar stools. Easily assembled, but very sturdy with a weighted base. Fit in perfectly with our new kitchen with black work tops. Look exactly like the photos on the website, the height adjustment "gas" control works well.
